How Is Age Calculated?
Exact age is calculated using calendar dates, not by simply dividing the number of days by 365. The calculator first counts complete years, then complete months, and then the remaining days between your date of birth and the selected date.
This method accounts for months with different lengths and leap years, so the result can be shown as a precise calendar age such as 36 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

26 complete years (birthday already passed in 2026) + 5 complete months since the last birthday + 22 remaining days
Answer: 26 years, 5 months, and 22 days
